They became known as the ‘Gay Delavals’ due to their flamboyant lifestyle and often scandalous behaviour. The volunteer had lots of fun stories and secrets to share that really helped us imagine what life would have been like for the people who lived and worked at Seaton Delaval Hall through the ages.
